Short CV

Dr. Voutsadaki was born in Chania of Crete (Greece) on the 15/07/1982. She studied Chemistry, holds a Masters Degree and a PhD in Organic Chemistry (University Crete, Greece), while she accomplished to win 3 national awards during her studies. Her research interests include synthesis of heavy metals’ probes and heavy metal site remediation. Dr. Voutsadaki has participated in European research and several national development projects. Since September 2010 she works with Technical University of Crete (the Department of Environmental Engineering) as Research Collaborator of the “Laboratory of Hydrogeochemical Engineering and Soil Remediation”. Her axes of activity are: field experiments, simulation of field conditions in laboratory and chemical analyses of water, wastewater and soil by the use of Spectrophotometers, CE, microwave digestor and TN/TC analyzer.
